New: Seamless Canvas LMS Integration Now Available

We're excited to announce that ClassTempo now offers full integration with Instructure Canvas—the most requested feature from our higher education users.

What's New

One-Click Grade Sync

Quiz scores and participation grades now sync automatically to your Canvas gradebook. No more manual entry, no more export/import workflows.

When a student completes a ClassTempo activity, their score appears in Canvas within seconds. You can also batch-sync historical data for activities completed before enabling the integration.

Roster Import

Import your Canvas course roster directly into ClassTempo. When students enroll or drop your Canvas course, ClassTempo updates automatically.

This means:

No manual student setup

No orphaned accounts

Always-current class lists

LTI 1.3 Deep Linking

Add ClassTempo activities directly to Canvas modules and assignments. Students click once and they're in—no separate login required.

You can create:

Graded activities that count toward final grades

Ungraded practice activities

Extra credit opportunities

Canvas SSO

Students authenticate with their Canvas credentials. They don't need a separate ClassTempo account or password.

For institutions using Canvas, this means:

How to Set It Up

For Instructors

1. Go to ClassTempo Settings → Integrations 2. Click "Connect Canvas" 3. Authorize ClassTempo to access your Canvas courses 4. Select which courses to sync

Setup takes about 2 minutes.

For Administrators

If you want to enable ClassTempo institution-wide:

1. Install the ClassTempo LTI tool in Canvas Admin 2. Configure trust settings 3. Enable for desired accounts/sub-accounts
